Kyle lives in North Salt Lake, having escaped Las Vegas in the nick of time in 2004. He attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, graduating with a BSME and 4 years of experience in design engineering of large facilities from Florida to California and many places in between with Finnegan Erickson Associates. Since moving to Utah, he has worked with Colvin Engineering and is currently working with ETC Group. He holds P.E. licenses in Utah (2006) and Washington (2009). His involvement with students at every level and repeated attempts to defy the law of thermodynamics keep his practice fresh and exciting.

Kyle met and married Krista Farrell in Las Vegas shortly before she had time to react appropriately. They have been blessed with four children since 2002 and enjoy (most) every minute of it. Kyle enjoys tennis, Austrian economics, basketball, the outdoors, (very) amateur blacksmithing, visiting his native state of Washington, and history, but not necessarily in that order.
